Beginning as a planning committee for Hadley's 350th Anniversary in 2009, this team continued to evolve into the Edward Hopkins Educational Foundation.

Most of Joe's time now is spent generating funds for the EHEF, to provide students in the Hadley School System with extra educational material for their educational process.  Joe also raises about 800 chrysanthemums annually and he collects watch fobs, tobacco tins, number plates, old farm equipment, baseball cards, and a number of other things.

Cindy has spent a good part of her life in volunteer service to her community (Lions Club Citizen of the Year 2000 in Granby) and to our military veterans (serving on the Board of Trustees at the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke for 21 years, representing Hampshire County). Her favorite things are good music; interesting and creative people; encouraging children to appreciate all things in nature; gardening and history.
